Well here we are again after a week of Mr Flu. Oh well.
When we last heard from our intrepid hero (you ever notice that only one letter seperated hero and zero?), he pontificating on the whyness of when, either that or talkin bout movie rankings.
Once I get past the first few on my list there are a whole bunch that are kind of lumped together, depends on which I've seen recently as to where they rank.
Ghostbusters...the 1st one anyway, love the movie, used to know it almost word for word by heart. Brilliantly done and the cast was so good together.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit has always been one of my most enjoyable movie watching experiences. All the fabulous cartoon characters, along with a good cast and for the time brilliant special effects. I always wished that they had done some sequels to this. By the way, in the original book that the movie was based on....Roger Rabbit was the Killer!
Groundhog Day, Bill Murray's tour de force....such a brilliant concept and Murray, well I can't think of anyone else that could have pulled this off.
Blazing Saddles...Mel Brooks best movie...it is so sad that you couldn't make this movie today what with the intolerance that the left has foisted on this great country.
Indiana Jones ...now there are four of these, watched the first one the other night for the first time in a year or two and you know what? It holds up very well. My sister would disagree, but it sure is a fun way to sit back and pass a quiet evening while munching popcorn and enjoying Harrison Ford.
I've got a bunch of stuff on my brain cell so am going to sign off on this one and do a little bit more on some other stuff. However am planning on doing some more movie lists and maybe a few reviews in time.
