Still hot, after all these years....well the weather is anyway.  Just checked and it's officially 95 degrees in Mayer the closest reporting station, about 8 miles west of here and almost a thousand feet higher in elevation.....my front porch thermometer which has been in the shade for the last 2 hours said 92 or 93......

Not much happening these days, looking forward to going to the bright lights  and big city of Prescott Valley on Monday.

Monday is the 3rd of the month and that's the day the gummint pays me to stay home and not bother people that work for a living.   Little do they suspec that I can bother people long distance  from the comfort of my computer.

Today is a Charmin day....Charmin is one of 3 little sister kitties that I'm fostering, she and her sister Amaretto take turns..Charmin gets me today, and tomorrow (like yesterday) Amaretto will sit on my keyboard, talk to me and generaly demand lubbins.

Training camp for the Cards opened yesterday...so the long dark days are over until next off season.  High hopes this year and looks like the players and coaches are really focused.  

Not going to be able to go up to Flagstaff to see them practice this year....have been a few times and it's lovely up there (about an hour to the north of me), they are at a little over 5,500 feet on the side of the San Francisco Peaks and surrounded by pines and a dash of cool breeze.
